Mercury Survey

Mercury is a persistent, bio-accumulative toxic substance used by all disciplines of doctors and is a significant public health threat and source of impairment to our nation's environment. Michael Mc Keon, Nursing lecturer from Dublin City University is conducting a survey of mercury-related activities in Ireland.

The primary purpose of this survey is to:

  • Present a picture of mercury use in health care settings in Ireland.

  • Share information and lessons learned among health services to assist in the creation of an instrument for addressing mercury use.

The survey is directed towards all disciplines of doctors and can be completed online for the first 2 months of 2007 with a closing date for filling in the survey of the 28th February 2007. Please be assured that the information you provide will remain strictly confidential and your anonymity is assured.
